Chinese elective course for high school writing textbook published by PEP, is aseparately codified and independently formed new writing textbook, under the spiritof the Ordinary High School Curriculum Standard (testing). It organizes the textbookby writing procedure and its way of structure and content compiling focuses onimproving students’ self-learning. The overall structure of this book is separately andspecialized codified type and the inner structure are the two clues which are thewriting knowledge clue and writing ability training clue, and four parts which aretopic exploration part, knowledge guidance part, samples for reference part andwriting practice part. Meanwhile, writing knowledge, samples and writing trainingconstitute the main contents of this book. Based on the research on the content of thisbook and analyzing its advantages and disadvantages, Analyses its main advantage isto shift from"textbook" to "learning", the cultivation of the reader consciousness andthinking training. And the existence of literary style training in narrow range,herewith the choose less, the lack of related literature masterpieces by famous writersrecommended several shortcomings.the writer aims to give some advice for teachersand students on choosing and using this book from the three aspects of teachingmethod, learning method and students learning evaluation.
