For a long time, academic education has always been a main form of running ofadult higher education in the university of Yunnan province. But in recent years, theadult higher academic education in the college of Yunnan province faces somedifficulties, it faces two major problems, including Part of college students have beendeclined and the features of adult education are not prominent. The main reasons ofthe decline in Part of college education students are compensation academic educationhas been completed, the enrollment expansion of the college, the competition betweenmultiple adult education school, adult higher academic education in the college havesome problems in the process of self-development, etc. The main performance that thefeatures of adult education are not prominent includes the educational goal orientationis inaccurate, the defect of personnel training mode, teaching organization andmanagement is not standard, Teachers quality need to improve, etc. To solve thereality problem effectively, to implement the health and sustainable development ofadult higher education in the college of Yunnan province, we need to through thesurface of the problem and see the essence behind the phenomenon, also we shouldtake corresponding development countermeasures. In this study, we propose twoaspects of the development countermeasures, the first one is to promote theconnotation construction of adult higher academic education, including to adjust theeducational goal orientation, to strengthen the construction of disciplines, to adjust thespecialties, to improve the structure of curriculum, to strengthen the construction ofteaching material, Pay more attention to the construction of teacher team, to Improveof methods teaching, to strengthen the teaching monitoring. In the second, to speed upeducation transformation of adult higher degree education, the core is to developnon-academic education and make the link between academic education andnon-academic education effectively.This research consists of the following five parts:The first chapter: introduction. This section include the reason of selecting topic,significance of the study, the reviewing of the literature, the content of this study, theidea and method of this study.The second chapter: the theoretical basis and the core concept. This section describedand analyzed the basic idea of and the application of this study about “lifelongeducation theory “and “the theory of social transformation”, defined four coreconcepts, including the "adult higher academic education in the college " and "connotation construction "," Transformation of running the college ","sustainabledevelopment".The third chapter: the investigation and analysis of the present situation of adulthigher academic education in the college of Yunnan province. Including theinvestigation results and the analysis of the recruitment students scale, teachingorganization, management and implementation.The fourth chapter: the main problems in the process of the development of adult higher academic education in the college of Yunnan province. On the basis of thepresent situation investigation, to analysis two outstanding problems, including Part ofcollege students have been declined and the features of adult education are notprominent.The fifth chapter: the development countermeasures of adult higher academiceducation in the college of Yunnan province. Combination of the main problems inthe developing and using relevant theory, Put forward two aspect countermeasures, topromote the connotation construction of adult higher academic education and speedup to make the link between academic education and non-academic educationeffectively.
