A Study On The Protection And Inheritance Of The Movement Of "Yao Tao Luo" In Achang Nationality

As a kind of old and primitive dance game of Achang, Deng Wo Luo is the mostrepresentative one. It keeps the characteristics of simplicity and unsophisticated style,and must be done with dances and songs in Achang dialect. With the development ofthe social society and the change of Achang’s cultural concepts, Deng Wo Luo isbecoming assimilated with the Han and more popularized, and the ethniccharacteristics of Achang is becoming more weakened. Moreover, because Achangdialect is lack of written language, only transmitted by the spoken language,Achang’s culture is more likely to be impacted by the outside factors, and acceleratedto mutate. Therefore, it’s urgent to thoroughly and systematically protect and inheritthe game of Deng Wo Luo of Achang.Based on an introduction to the game of Deng Wo Luo, a review of backgroundinformation and it’s cultural history, and a survey of present developing state,employed several research methods like documents, field work, interview, data andlogical analysis, the thesis finds out that the main problem to the scientific protectionand inheritance of the game of Deng Wo Luo lies in the lack of inheritors, especiallythe inheritors of singing.Through the research, the thesis tries to put forward a scientific basis for thegovernment’s decision on the protection and inheritance of the game of Deng WoLuo of Achang and give some suggestions. In order to protect and inherit the game ofDeng Wo Luo better and scientifically, the following measures are suggested to betaken: First, it’s necessary to break through the traditional protection and inheritanceways, but to lay much emphasis on the following three ways. In brief, the localgovernment is expected to introduce the game of Deng Wo Luo into the curriculum ofthe local primary and middle schools, pay much attention to the training of inheritors,and strengthen the local people’s awareness of the traditional culture. Second, thelocal government should revise and improve the match rules of the game, increase theinvestment, and try hard to declare to be an intangible cultural heritage project. Last but not the least, a research society on the game of Deng Wo Luo should beestablished, and an exhibition hall of Achang’s cultural history and a ecologicalculture village of Achang are suggested to be founded. In this way, the game ofAchang’s Deng Wo Luo is expected to fly out of the mountain village, and fly to theworld, so as to be protected and inherited thoroughly and scientifically.
