The degree of development of the network information is more and more high, multimediaequipment has been in high school popularity, traditional graphic combination mode of transmission ofinformation, it is not enough to arouse the students’ interest in learning. While the movie resourcescombination of sound, image, lighting and other effects, for audio-visual senses have a more intensestimulation, more easy to arouse students’ learning interest and desire to explore, and film and videoresource acquisition is extremely convenient, if the organic integration of the geography curriculum,video resources and primary students interested in Teaching, it will make students get twice the resultwith half the effort. However, sources of geographic film material is extremely wide, variety, how toeffectively organize, for their rational use of editing, full is an urgent problem to be solved. The purposeof this study is to explore the advantages of geographical features and video resources, and what typesof video resources suitable for use geographic geography teaching in different teaching modes,class-based, teaching, and how to apply these resources to improve student learning GeographicTelevision interest and learning efficiency.This paper systematically analyzes the meaning, characteristics and types of geographic videoresources, describes the use of Geographic video resources in junior high school geography teaching thenecessity and feasibility of a more in-depth analysis of the geography and the geography curriculumstandard video resources, geography textbooks ties on different teaching mode, class-based, teachingstrategies presented corresponding application, every aspect of the discussion are given examples ofpractical teaching can be used directly, and a brief analysis of the application process, the possibleproblems and gives some teaching recommendations.The use of Geographic Television in junior high school geography teaching resources, and itspurpose is to better facilitate student learning, which requires teachers must do instructional designbefore class, pay attention to selecting and editing video resources, and analyze specific issues,depending on the course content and classroom type, geographic adjustment video presentation and useof resources in time; while exploiting the main role of students, so that students not only get sensorystimulation, and can take the initiative to find video resources of the geographical issues, cooperation byexploring geographic or group thinking to solve question, it truly improve student learning efficiency. Geographic Television resources necessary to highlight educational purposes, rather than a mereformality, or become mere "movie lesson."...
