English Premier League, short for Premier League or EPL, was founded in 1992 in the basis of Football League First Division, which is one of the toppest football league in Europe. The Premier League is the most commercialized and popular football league in the world which has a huge number of fans in the world scope. There are also countless football fans crazy for the Premier League in China.This paper does research from the perspective of communication. In the first, the paper reviewed the history of the Premier League communicating at home and abroad. The history of the Premier League communicating in England can be divided into three stages which are printed media period, television media peirod and new media period. The history of the Premier League communicating in China can be divided into four stages which are blank period(before 1980s), initial period(1980s to the early 90s), television period(1993 to the early twenty-first century) and the new media period(since twenty-first century).Nowadays the communicators involved in the communication of Premier League on the Internet include Premier League and Premier League clubs, the printed media, the television media, various types of the new media on the Internet and the APPs on the phone. These communicators have their own characteristics, advantages and weaknesses which are the main parts of the communicating environment of Premier League.On the whole, the dissemination of the Premier League in China on the network have shown four characteristics:the role of an ordinary netizens in Internet communication becomes more and more prominent; the Premier League mainly depends on the increase site traffic, enhance the indirect way of website popularity to provide benefits to the site; a Premier League is the core of the dissemination of the contents of the focus of media attention, but also network the content of the dissemination of the contents; a strong team in far more than the small team.This research thought that the communication of the Premies. League on the Internet in China has the following the trend in the future. Firstly, the charge to watch Premier League Live will become the norm. Secondly, the status of the communication of the Premier League on the Internet in China will further diversification. Thirdly, more and more foreign information about Premier League will spread to China. Fourthly, ordinary netizens will involved in the network communication more deeply. Fifthly, the market competition about the communication of the Premier League on the phone will be more intense.Therefore for the media workers involved in the communication of the Premier League on the Internet in China should consider about the following suggestions. Firstly seizing the core resources of its own and finding the website localization. Secondly paying more attention to the role of ordinary netizens and enhancing the interaction between the website and the netizens and the interaction among the netizens. Thirdly paying more attentions to the mobile phone terminal and avoiding to be left behind in the market competition.
