After entering the new century, great changes have taken place in our country’s education system. The concept of quality education is gradually applied to teaching and the basic education is being comprehensive reformed in our country. Biology, as a separate examination, is important such as Chinese, English and Maths in Shanghai college entrance examination, which is different from other provinces in China. As an important curriculum in senior high school teaching system, it is necessary to explore the effective teaching methods in Biology classroom to improve the teaching efficiency. Effective teacher-student interaction in biology classroom can promote the professional development of teachers and improve the teaching efficiency. Currently, the research on teacher-student interaction is mainly focus on its basic properties, types, main characteristics and research values in English, P.E. and Maths classroom. However, the research on teacher-student interaction in Biology and Science classroom is few. This article has analyzed teacher-student interaction in Biology classroom, which is based on the contemporary quality education reform and the actual situation of Shanghai college entrance examination system. The research is doing by observing the open class and interviewing teachers and students. We find that teacher-student interaction can effectively stimulate students’ interest and motivation and can highlight the main role of students and improve students’ ability of getting, dealing with the information and expressing and the ability of understanding, reasoning, judging and scientific inquiring and exploring. Combined with the actual teaching experiment and the actual situation of students, teacher-student interaction in Biology classroom improves the efficiency and quality of the teaching in some degree. In this study, we focus on widespread problems in teacher-student interactive by surveying and summarizing. We have analyzed the possible reasons and explored the strategies, which is oriented and scientific. It has positive significance to further study on biology teaching in Shanghai college entrance examination system.
