Ever since early this century, our country launched a new round of curriculum reform. Advocating the teaching method of "experiment-exploration" is a highlight of this curriculum reform. In teaching practice, a majority of the first-line science teachers have carried on the positive exploration and attempt to the teaching method of "experiment-exploration" on the basis of their subject knowledge, and explored some of the more mature teaching methods of "experiment-exploration", Some of which have achieved success, so that the students’ scientific literacy has been improved to some extent. However, in the middle school physics course teaching practice at present, the development of the teaching method of "experiment-exploration" is not optimistic. There are so many problems in practice that the teaching method of "experiment-exploration" is in the phenomenon of alienation.Therefore,we need to explore a teaching method of "experiment-exploration" for the middle school physics course in line with local Chinese teaching.In this article, there are four parts. The first part introduces the history of science curriculum reform and the development of teaching method of "experiment-exploration" in China, as well as the existing problems and cause analysis, and the significance of the teaching method of physics experiment-exploration. The second part explains the basic theory of the teaching method of physics experiment-exploration. Firstly, the author discusses the main process of physics experiment-exploration teaching method. Then, the author describes the guiding ideology and analyzes the core elements of the teaching method. The third part builds a new model for the physics experiment-exploration teaching method, which is on the basis of Popper ’s philosophy of science as well as Schwab ’s inquiry teaching ideas. And puts the new model into practical research. The fourth part based on the new model lists some application cases, taking examples of junior middle school physics textbook published by Shanghai Education Press.The new model gives the essential elements in the teaching method of physics experiment-exploration. This model has such a strong maneuverability so that the teacher can launch an experiment just along its principal thinking. The new model saves time and improves efficiency in the experimental classroom. It is more helpful to the promotion of physics experiment-exploration in the classroom. Based on the new model, the author conducted a semester of practice and has received good results. As the saying goes, teaching is not fixed. In the classroom instruction, the teacher should take into consideration the model according to different situations and use it flexibly. A mature model requires constant exploration and confirmation of the first-line teachers. The author hopes to make progress together with other physical teachers.
