A Study On The Ideological And Political Education Of College Students In Apartment Management

With the popularity of the course-selecting system and the credit system in colleges and universities, most college students no longer have a fixed classroom as a main learning and living space. On the contrary, apart from classrooms, apartments become the most important living and learning places for college students, and they are also the important place where college students form and transform their view on life and values. Therefore, apartments become another important front to implement ideological and political education on college students. However, there exists the problem in ideological and political education of apartment management of not fully carrying out the educational principle of people first, the phenomenon of replacing education with management, replacing punishment with management everywhere. There is only one single form of ideological and political education in the management of apartments and the content of the education is rigid. There are problems such as the lacking of the restraint and evaluation on the ideological and political education in the management of apartments. The reasons are as followed: it hasn’t caused enough concern from the working staff in the field of ideological and political education, from school and society as a whole; the achievement of theoretic research in the ideological and political education on college students in the management of apartments can hardly meet the need of the practice; the particularity of the objects of ideological and political education in the management of apartments has increased the difficulty of the education, etc. To solve these problems, the awareness on the working staff is to improve; the educational principle of people first is to set up; the quality of ideological standards and political awareness on the managements is to improve; people concerned should set up well-established mode of ideological and political education on college students in the management of apartments management etc. Thus, ideological and political education on college students can work out well.
