As one of the important lesson type in high school mathematics teaching, recitation has its unique advantages in the respect of cultivation of the student’s mathematical ability. In the recitation teaching, teachers help students consolidate and deepen the basic knowledge and basic skills by the organizing exercises, practice, problem-solving exercises, timely expose the problems existing in the students’ learning, guide students to comb structure, making their minds constantly improve the knowledge system& thinking ability, so as to achieve the purpose of full range of students’ mathematical ability. Recitation of instructional design is a prerequisite of good recitation, which guarantees efficient conduct of recitation.From the status of math teaching in high school math exercises, by using interview survey research methods of a Shanghai high school mathematics teacher interviews, this paper found the following problems in the current high school mathematics teaching: teaching objectives vague and arbitrary teaching, blindness in the choice of exercises contents, single teaching methods and the lack of students’ subjectivity, classroom learning evaluation ignore incentive problem such as the guiding role and other issues. These problems indicate that many high school math teachers’ recitation teaching design is still insufficient. Based on these problems, this study starts from the ideology of all for the sake of the education for students, in the existing teaching design research and mathematical recitation, on the basis of teaching design research, with the theory of "zone of proximal development" and constructivism and mathematical exercises theory as the instruction, according to the characteristics of mathematics, constructed the process of high school mathematics teaching design mode.According to the process of construction of high school mathematics exercises teaching design model, then concrete research on teaching exercises design process is conducted. Among them, the recitation teaching aim analysis and learning needs analysis, learner analysis, mathematical exercises designed to solve exercises and teaching activities designed to evaluate the design and evaluation of classroom teaching design and other contents were discussed in detail. Finally, according to the construction of the high school mathematics teaching exercise design process model, the mathematical exercises teaching design cases are developed.Mathematics teaching exercises design research is a systematic project, which is also a long-term task that requires joint efforts of the general participation and mathematics educators. Through the research, paper hopes to promote the concept of high school mathematics teacher education update and improve teaching exercises design, thereby explore new teaching model recitation, so as to improve the quality of teaching exercises. Meanwhile, we hope to make a little contribution for further research on high school mathematics instructional design.
