The knowledge of historical geography is about the change of human geographical environment in the historical period,and the relationship between environment and the development of human and human society.History is a comprehensive subject.Infiltrating historical geography knowledge into history teaching can make up for the split of knowledge,optimize the effect of history teaching,and promote the development of students' space-time concept and comprehensive thinking ability.The orientation of history course in compulsory education is a basic course in Humanities and Social Sciences,which is of great significance to the all-round development and lifelong development of students.Therefore,strengthening the research on the application of historical geography knowledge is in line with the comprehensive and comprehensive characteristics of history curriculum,and also in line with the actual situation of current history teaching.Strengthening the integration of history teaching also puts forward higher requirements for history teachers.In order to better implement the requirements of history curriculum standards,history teachers should start from history textbooks,integrate the contents of historical geography knowledge in textbooks,strengthen the connection between nature and humanity,and promote the cultivation of comprehensive quality talents.Based on the above thinking,this paper attempts to explain a series of problems in the application of historical geography knowledge in history teaching from the historical geography knowledge involved in the current junior high school history textbooks compiled by the Ministry of Education Press.This paper is divided into five parts:The first part is the introduction,which mainly discusses the reason of the topic,research significance,research status,research objectives and research methods,research innovation and concept definition.The second part is the value analysis of historical geography knowledge in junior high school history teaching.It discusses the value of historical geography knowledge in junior high school history teaching from three dimensions: knowledge goal,ability goal,emotional attitude value goal.In the third part,the author analyzes and summarizes the problems existing in the process of using historical geography knowledge,and puts forward the principles that junior middle school history teachers should follow in the process of using historical geography knowledge.The fourth part is about how to use the historical geography knowledge effectively.Firstly,this paper combs a part of the historical geography knowledge involved in the unified edition of junior high school history textbooks,including historical physical geography,historical human geography,historical military geography and historical map.Historical physical geography includes climate,terrain,soil and other elements.Historical human geography includes four aspects: territory change,administrative division change,economic center of gravity moving south and human geography landscape.The part of historical military geography tries to deepen students' understanding of war from the perspective of climate and terrain.This paper puts forward specific suggestions on how to use this part of historical geography knowledge.In addition,in addition to combing the textbook knowledge,this paper also puts forward specific ways and methods for the use of historical geography knowledge from the use of historical maps.The fifth part is about the specific teaching design of the application of historical geography knowledge.
