The 21 st century is the times of knowledge explosion, and it is also the era of highly informational society. The way of people’s contact, the spread of knowledge and study approaches has experienced great changes. The micro-study based on the micro-media leads to changes in teaching manners. Under the circumstance of the latest teaching revolution, the micro-course has won huge attention because of the characteristics of terse and forceful, plus its flexibility. It has blended in students’ formal learning from the beginning of informal study, which is a beneficial addition to teaching methods. The following five chapters are the main contents of this assessment.The first chapter is aimed at the problems of high school geography and the requirements of the new revolution of teaching, with the appearance of micro-study, putting forward the significance and necessity of micro-study as a new resource of study.The second chapter defines the micro-courses, comb through characteristics and invest and analyze the condition both in home and aboard, especially in micro-course in domestic high school geography through researching documents to find out theoretical basis.The third chapter combines the features of high school geography, analyzing the cases of micro-course and traditional way of learning and the differences between them, based on which the design principle, division of courses presents. Along with which the design model is also aroused.The forth chapter uses cases analyzing method to study different styles of classes in micro-course high school geography, and assess their results. In the end, the users will be interviewed about the effects.The fifth chapter summarizes the design, the conduction and the effects it brings. Meanwhile, it points out its limits as well as expects the following process.
