With the developing of economy and education, graduate education rise in recent years. Graduate enrollment increases at a rate of about 30% per year. Under the new situation, it is particularly important to grasp a more realistic situation of graduate study and understanding the di?erences of students. When evaluating graduate record, the method is most taken to evaluate student with he average of the course during graduate period. Using this method to comprehensively evaluate the students is too one-side, and we can’t see the qualities and abilities of students in all aspects. This makes it di?cult to conduct scienti?c and reasonable evaluation.Based on the analysis result of the comparison of the various models, we found that if we combine factor analysis and cluster analysis, comprehensive evaluation of student achievement will be better than other methods such as principal component analysis. It also can clearly ?nd the underlying factors a?ecting student results.For the schools, there has some practical guidance on the meaning curriculum and promote all aspects of student quality and ability.
