Effect Of Astragalus Membranaceus On The Immune System In Rats With High Activity And Low Training

Research purposesLiving high -training low by gavages’ Astragalus wistar rats after preparation related thymus, spleen index, IgA, IgM, IgG, and CD3 and other immune parameters measured and analyzed, and further understanding of the astragals and Living high -training low on affect the immune system, with a view to athletes "Living high -training low" to provide more scientific basis and adjunct.2.Research MethodsSelect 40 male wistar rats were randomly divided into four groups:Living high -training low treatment group (n=10), Living high -training low group (n= 10), normoxic training group (n= 10) and normal oxygen in the control group (n= 10). The use of hypoxic tents simulate 2500 meters altitude atmospheric environment, Living high -training low group living 12 hours/day, 6 days/week; Living high -training low treatment group was given Astragalus extract, other group was given the same amount of pure water; sports group were forced to swim every day, 1h, 6 days/week, training four weeks after the last day of the rats to swim to exhaustion, were sacrificed 24h after restoring blood, thymus, spleen. Indicators for measuring body weight in rats, thymus weight, spleen weight, thymus, and spleen index, IgA, IgM, IgG, and CD3.3.Results3.1 compared with the Hilo group rats, were in Hilo group rats weight, thymus weight, spleen weight, thymus index, spleen index and serum CD3 increased (P> 0.05), but not significant; while the content of IgA, IgG and IgM in serum is very Xing Shenggao significantly (P< 0.01).3.2 and normoxia training group rats were compared, the content of HiLo group rats weight, thymus weight, spleen weight, thymus index, spleen index and serum CD3 were decreased (P> 0.05), the content of serum IgA decreased significantly (P< 0.05), the content of IgG, IgM and CD3 was significantly decreased (P< 0.01).3.3 compared with the rats in the normal control group, normoxic training group rat thymus weight, spleen weight, spleen index and CD3 content were increased (P> 0.05), but not significant; while the contents of IgA and IgM increased significantly (P< 0.05), IgG was significantly increased (P< 0.01).4.ConclusionsTaking Astragalus boiled liquid can significantly improve the Living high IgA, IgG, IgM levels in the body-training low rat, enhance their immunity. Tip athletes during the Living high -training low Astragalus may be appropriate to take to avoid susceptibility events.
