For the first time,the new curriculum reformation put forward a point that the teachers should be regarded as the curriculum developers and builders, admitted to the teacher’s leading role under the background of new course reformation, which getting more attention on the research of teacher’s curriculum leadership. The research of teachers’ curriculum leadership is a requirement of new curriculum reform, which has important significance in promoting the development of curriculum theory and practice of curriculum reform. However, the research of teachers’ curriculum leadership is relatively scarce for now in our country, which leads to teachers’ curriculum leadership has not been effectively play a role in the process of new curriculum reform, restricting the realization of the function of the curriculum leadership as a whole. Therefore, it is necessary for researching on the teachers’ curriculum leadership system of theory and practice, promoting the new curriculum reform carries on smoothly.The teachers’ curriculum leadership which including curriculum design, curriculum planning, curriculum implementation and curriculum evaluation and so on refer to the teachers has the ability leading for curriculum development. Telling from the basic concept, it includes the following aspects: teachers’ professional development; quality promotion; Equality interaction; students’ development all-round.At present, the status quo of teachers’ curriculum leadership is not optimistic, for lack of understanding of teachers’ curriculum leadership in China most of the teachers has been outside the curriculum leadership in the process of new curriculum reform. Specific performance is: subjectively, lacking of awareness of teachers in curriculum leadership, the consciousness of curriculum leadership is not strong; objectively, lack of the environment and the power of the teachers’ participation in curriculum leadership.The causes of this situation are various, including both the system level and cultural level, and the teachers themselves. System level, the obstacles of the traditional school management system and teachers’ curriculum evaluation mechanism is not perfect; Cultural level, the influence of the school management education idea and the inherent cultural atmosphere; Teachers level, mainly reflected in the teachers’ curriculum leadership consciousness, the lack of knowledge of curriculum leadership, low ability of curriculum development, poor team cooperation and coordination.In order to develop the function of teachers to participate in the school curriculum leadership, we can make some effort from system, environment, teamwork, and teachers themselves these four aspects emphatically. First, institutional guarantee: given the power of the teachers’ curriculum leadership; make environment support: teachers’ curriculum leadership of school environment; Third, team cooperation: establish teachers participate in curriculum leadership team; Fourth, its own efforts: the improvement of teachers’ curriculum leadership qualities.
