Research On Ecological Moral Education Of Contemporary College Students In China

With the rapid development of economy and the continuous progress of society, human beings are facing increasingly severe ecological crisis. As a result, ecological moral education must be conducte to effectively alleviate the tensions between human beings and the environment. Contemporary college students are the main force of society in the future. In the case that China is committed to building a beautiful backdrop, to strengthen the study of ecological moral education of contemporary college students is not only conducive to promoting sustainable economic and social development, building a harmonious society and enriching the moral education system in universities, but also helpful for developing ecological moral consciousness of contemporary college students, improving their ecological morality and providing qualified talents for China’s socialist modernization.The thesis is divided into three parts as follows. The first part is an overview of the ecological moral education of contemporary college students that mainly elaborates on the goal, the content and the significance of ecological moral education. The second part makes an in-depth understanding and comprehensive analysis of the problems in the ecological moral education of contemporary college students through questionnaires, and briefly analyzes the issues existing in the moral ecological education of college students and the causes based on the findings. The third part makes a profound summary of effective measures to strengthen the ecological moral education of contemporary college students, which mainly discusses measures to strengthen the ecological moral education of contemporary college students in response to the issues and causes in the second part, from developing ecological moral education theory, expanding ecological moral education approaches, improving ecological moral education safeguard mechanism and giving full play to the function of family, community and government forces, etc. so as to further enhance the ecological morality and responsibility of contemporary college students and to develop good ecological moral behavior.From the perspective of ecological moral education of contemporary college students, the thesis fully draws on the findings of previous studies and comprehensively explain the concept of ecological ethics and its requirements, profoundly analyze the issues and causes and summarizes the measures of great ecological significance to strengthening moral education of contemporary college student, adopting integrated methods of literature research, comparative analysis and questionnaires, and thus to give full play to the function of universities, family, community and government to ensure the smooth implementation of ecological moral education, and to guide students as well as the whole society to establish a correct idea of ecological ethics to improve our current environment.
