The new round of curriculum reform pioneers to change the old teaching method which waspassive and mainly focused on knowledge teaching. The new curriculum encourages students tofind problems, research problems and solve problems on their own thus to change the students’learning method totally. This fully reflects the people-centric teaching idea. The teaching methodwhich focuses on the exploration of problems is just developed according to the background. Theteaching method centers the exploration of problems, it creates historical situations to enlightenstudents’ thoughts. Students will develop themselves by constructing knowledge, developing theemotion, improving the abilities with students’ personal work and group work. The teachingmethod emphasizes that students are the center. It mainly focuses on the development ofstudents’ various abilities such as learning by themselves, analytic abilities, logical thinking,creativity and language abilities to develop the history class full of interaction and harmonybetween students and teachers. At the same time, teachers can develop themselves by designingproblems, exploring problems, solving problems and expanding problems.This essay researches problems-exploring teaching method in history lessons in juniormiddle school. It mainly consists of:The part of introduction mainly introduces the reason that the writer chooses the topic, thepresent situation of the subject research, the value of the research, the significance of theresearch and the research methods of the subject.The first chapter is The meaning, the theoretical basis and basic features of theproblems-exploring teaching method. This chapter first analyses the important conceptions suchas problems, exploration and so on. It aims to make sure readers can know the meaning of eachconcept thus to make a fixed position for the research object problems-exploring teachingmethod. Then the chapter also explains the theoretical basis and basic features of the subjectresearch.The second chapter is The problems existing in using the problems-exploring teachingmethod in history teaching in junior middle schools at present. This chapter explains nowadaysthe problems existing in the history teaching according to two different aspects, students andteachers.The third chapter is The application strategy of using the problems-exploring teachingmethod in history teaching in junior middle schools. This chapter is the center of the essay. Thefirst part mainly explains how to use the method in history teaching. The writer thinksencouraging students to ask questions is the most important. It is divided into three parts, that is, daring to ask, wanting to ask and knowing how to ask. Then it tells that teachers should changetheir thinking way, try to optimizing the class structure. Then it says that designing the questionsis the key to the teaching method. The second part makes a list of the implementation steps. Thewriter explains her ideas about the research on the base of her teaching experience.The fourth chapter is The implementation steps of using the problems-exploring teachingmethod in history teaching in junior middle schools. This part is one of the most important partsof this essay. The writer explains this part from three parts. The first part is how to make lessonplans before class. The second part is teachers and students how to interact in class and the thirdpart is how to extend the learning from inside the class to outside the class.The fifth chapter is The problems that we need to pay attention in using theproblems-exploring teaching method in history teaching in junior middle schools. This partmainly remind the researchers and readers need to pay attention when they are doing theresearch.
