| Early childhood is the critical period for language learning. Because of the thinking characteristics of children and the law of language learning, the most important thing of this stage is the development of oral language. The language area in the kindergarten should provide a good language environment for the children’s language development which children want to speak, not afraid to speak and like to speak and also let children feel free to communication with partner, and companion for free and fully language communication.In order to set up the language area to promote linguistic communicative behavior between children. Experimental method was used in this research and28children from senior kindergarten were chose as the research subjects. This research was designed to find out whether the amounts and forms of supplies in language area would affect children’s language communication which including the times of initiating a conversation, responding to others, listening without response and the amount of the topics.The result showed that moderately reducing the supplies which mainly are picture cards in language area would increase children’s linguistic communicative behavior with peers, and enrich the forms of supplies such as painting books in language area would increase children’s linguistic communicative behavior with peers. Based on this result, the researcher suggested as below:the first was creating a liberal language communication environment for children; second was that the supplies offered should be abundant but moderate in amount; the last was that the categories of the supplies in language area should be exploratory. |
