With the vigorous development of the economy, science and mathematics has penetrated into all aspects of the society, the application of mathematics is becoming more and more widely. Raise awareness of the application of mathematics, has become the demand of the times proposed for mathematics education. Mathematical modeling activity is to develop students awareness of mathematical applications, divergent thinking of the students and an important way to improve students identify problems, analyze and solve problems. Mathematical modeling is a new thing,"high school mathematics new curriculum standards" that appear to require high school for at least one mathematical modeling. However, due to our current college entrance examination system and teachers and students lack of knowledge of mathematical modeling, mathematical modeling activity is not caused by being better integrated into the high school mathematics teaching, and even in many schools is ignored. Based on this problem, this paper is divided into four parts will be centered on how to into the mathematical modeling in high school mathematics teaching to discuss.The first part, through to the important role of mathematics in daily life and the present problems in the high school teaching, this paper compared the domestic and foreign current situation of the development of mathematical modeling, put forward in this article to study the problem, namely how to blend in mathematical modeling activities in high school teaching.The second part, in this paper the mathematical modeling on the basis of content and meaning, gives the mathematical modeling into the teaching methods and strategies of high school. Mathematical modeling is put forward to three phases step by step into the high school mathematics teaching, and gives the corresponding to each stage of the mathematical modeling teaching cases.The primary stage:using the method of mathematical modeling process will be split into to students’practical problems using mathematical language, gradually formed the purpose of the consciousness of mathematics application. The resistance measurement is used as a mathematical modeling teaching cases."The most provinces to boil water to gas problem" is used as a mathematical modeling teaching cases."Elevator running problem" is used as a mathematical modeling teaching cases. The intermediate stage:stages in the teaching process of Mathematics by means of mathematical modeling activity, to train students to ask questions, the ability to analyze and solve problems.Advanced stage:in the form of interest group or mathematical modeling to explore class in mathematical modeling, cultivate students’ ability of autonomous learning and autonomous exploration.The third part:presented and solved with three stages corresponding to five common problems of mathematical modeling.The fourth part:for teachers in mathematical modeling into high school mathematics teaching process puts forward some superficial suggestion can better play a role and shows that mathematical modeling activities in high school teaching will become an inevitable trend.
