Schoolwork burden problem stand long, judging from the existingdocuments, with the appearance of school education, students have differentforms, different degrees of schoolwork burden. At present, the problem has become ahot issue of social concern. The community actively offer advice and suggestions, hopingto make our students grow up healthily and happily. The country also attach greatimportance to this work.《National education reform and development of long-termplanning programs(2010-2020)》 clearly pointed out:"The heavy schoolworkburden damages to the physical and mental health of teenagers seriously, and endangersthe future of our country. By reducing the schoolwork burden, the document ensures thatstudents study lively and grow up healthily and happily." In June,2013,,《on promotingthe reform of comprehensive evaluation of the quality of primary and secondaryeducation opinions》, clearly statusing, the schoolwork burden as one of the five aspectsof the comprehensive evaluation index system of the quality of education in primary andmiddle schools.Especially in November2013,《Decision of the CCCPC on Some MajorIssues Concerning Comprehensively Deepening the Reform》clearly pointed out that weshould reduce the burden on students absolutely.The junior middle school stage of basic education is the transitionperiod from primary school to high school, and it is also a key stage for students to lay thefoundation of study before accepting high school education. At present, in various kindsof "burden reduction" policy implementation, interest subjects, the society, parents, schoolsand other interest subjects fierce game. What is the real situation of junior high schoolstudents schoolwork burden? Reducing burden measures what have good results?AndWhat other problems need to be solved urgently? To further improve the current situationof students’ schoolwork burden what measures should be taken? Based on thinking of theabove problems, the author takes the students of four junior high schools in a district ofShandong Province as the research objects, using document research, questionnairesurvey, interviews and other methods to carry on the research,and thinks that thecurrent junior high school students schoolwork burden does exist. Mainly due to theabsence of the education of scientific achievement view, the weakness of the educationadministrative intervention strength is, the lack of supervision. Also, studentscomprehensive quality evaluation methods can not fully meet the requirements of quality education. The management of junior high school students schoolwork burden is not fine.Teachers can’t stand in the angle of talents training to carry out the educationteaching activities. Parents education ideas need to keep pace with the times. Childrenrearing methods need to constantly update and other reasons.The author recommends, we should start from the national level, implement thecomprehensive quality evaluation process of students fully, reform junior high schoolexam methods, reforms taking approaches. Starting from the education authority level. Weshould strengthen the research and application of homework, strengthen the homeworkof primary school management system research and application, strengthen theexamination management and diagnostic monitoring function studies, establish an effective"burden" of work supervision mechanism. Starting from the school level, arrange thecampus culture school life and after class life scientifically. Strengthen curriculumconstruction and management, strengthen the management of school textbooks, grasp thehomework monitoring well. Starting from the teacher level, establish a correct outlookon education, deepen the reform of classroom teaching. Build efficient classes, improvetheir quality fully. Starting from the parents level, change "only score" narrow view oftalents and education, objectively treatment of the children. Liberate from the pressure ofhigh expectations of parents, try to educate the overall quality of children in multi-angle,multi-channel, multi-level. Take comprehensive measures to reduce the junior high schoolstudents’ heavy schoolwork burden, to lay a solid foundation for the lifelong developmentof the students.
