The Optimization Of Network Means In Junior Middle School Biology Teaching And Its Effect

The new Biology curriculum criteria were officially issued by Chinese Ministry ofEducation in2011. The basic ideas and purposes of education are to improve students’ biologicalscientific literacy. It emphasizes that biology, as a natural scientific course, should show the basiccontent and react the essence of natural science. So under the new curriculum standard, all theteachers should follow the basic ideas and purposes of education. Each biology teacher shouldstudy this problem and help students to improve their biological scientific literacy.The main purpose of biology course in middle schools is to improve students’ biologicalscientific literacy. The new Biology curriculum criteria order the teachers to care all the studentsand develop their positive attitudes and practical abilities. But during the nine-year workingexperiences, the writer finds that both teachers and students pay attention to the results ratherthan the process, which can not improve their biological scientific literacy. At the same time,biology teachers have only two lessons once a week and they teach six classes or so. Therefore,it is difficult for them to help all the students. So teachers should promote the class with the helpof the Internet.Based on different kinds of psychological theories, such as the Learning Theory ofConstructivism, Six Degrees of Separation, the theory of Multiple Intelligences and MetaCognitive Theory, my study is started in Grade Two of Tai’an No.6Middle School. Differentkinds of methods are adopted in order to show the real present situation of Biology teaching inTai Shan District. I also try my best to summarize the problems of Internet use occurred in thisstage．At the same time, conclusions are drawn and suggestions are offered to the schools,teachers and the students as well．The final purpose is to realize the improvement of quality andeffectiveness of Biology teaching with the help of the Internet.
