With the rapid development of technology and knowledge updating in the21st century,high quality and interdisciplinary talents are needed in the society. Consequently, in responseto the developments and requirements of a new era, we set out the journey of exploration inbasic education area on the foundation of analyzing the current situation of the society andeducation. Furthermore, the core concept of ‘giving priority to integrated curriculum inelementary schools’has been clarified during the curriculum reform of basic education set outfrom2001. The courses affect the researching while our country is given priority to branchcourses for a long time, the organization of school researching and process of implement inaccordance with it naturally. The fact that current forms of teaching researches based onsubjects has difficulties satisfying the need of educational reform and the requirements ofreality, which attracts our attentions to rethink the development of teaching researches inprimary schools.It is unwise to shape a newly emerging thing without tracing its source. The elementaryschool educational researches in China has experienced four stages including the recoveryperiod(1949-1965),the reform period(1977-1984), the multivariate period(1985-1999)and the innovation period(2000-). From the histoty,the current educational researches inChina showing such as the discipline nature division form, collective lesson preparation way,mainly analysis of book and the spontaneous exploratory behavior of primary school teachersin interdisciplinary research. While we also realized the problems brought by traditionaleducational research form such as narrow view sight of research, certain and closed contents,insufficient participation of teachers and restriction of students’comprehensive developments.On the other hand, emphasizes the knowledge background of teachers with differentdisciplines, breaking its original subject barriers, cooperation and coordination betweendifferent disciplines teachers and teaching methods, experience of interdisciplinary researchmodel is on the horizon. Compared with the traditional discipline branch of the research, itshows out the features of heterogeneity and complement,flexibility and comprehensiveness,open and creativity while rich in teaching content.broaden the research field of vision,improving teachers’ teaching and research status, enhance the research participation, using theheterogeneous advantage,improving the efficiency of teaching and promote thecomprehensive development of students’ comprehensive quality by demonstrating theimportance and inner values of interdisciplinary educational researches.The objectives of elementary school interdisciplinary educational researches lie in three aspects such asimproving teachers’ cooperative abilities,optimizing teachers’ knowledge systems anddeveloping students’comprehensive quality.The construction of its emphasis on collaborative,overall, the principles of democracy.Including five stages covering building researching teams,clarifying goals and assigning tasks, making research plans, implementing research activities,evaluating and adjusting plans and requiring supports of relevant thoughts, institutions,technology and emotion.At present, the interdisciplinary research model in primary school as a new teachingmodel, in addition to clarify teh further popularization and application, more efforts should betaken: clarifying the certain scope and enhancing the management of educational researchresource library, optimizing the quality of research teams, establishing and improvingevaluation mechanism and seeking for supports from multiple fields to broaden itsgeneralization.
