Frustration tolerance,namely the individuals adapting to setbacks, the ability to resist and tocope with setbacks. Having a certain frustration tolerance is a prerequisite to promote theindividuals of developing a good social adaptation ability.The stage of preschool is a fastdevelopment period of the individual’s body and mind, which has a strong plasticity. Therefore,it is necessary to cultivate the children’s frustration tolerance,to promote them to adapt to thesocial environent easily,to perfect their personalities,and to build a foundation for children’shealth of body and mind development from preschool stage.Based on the study of previous research, selected two children by interviewing and filteringto study.Case one,Youyou,when facing setbacks,he becomes timid and easy to cry,even retreatand escape by himself.Case two,Lele,when his needs don’t satisfy,she will cry,and can’t bear thefails.According to the specific performances and personality characteristics of cases,from threeaspects of family, kindergarten and children,to analyze the reason of the children’s poorfrustration tolerance in cases,to design a targeted training scheme, and to carry out it in childrencultivation.Cultivating results show that through the implementation of specific cultivation schemes infamily and the kindergarten, children in cases improve their frustration tolerance in differentlevels compared with before. When the case one faces setbacks, he has courage to face actively,and no longer to escape, but in most cases needs adult’s help and guidance;Case two canbasically understand that not all what he want to get can get,and can face win and losereasonably.That indicates that the studied established plan is effective.According to the results of individual studies cases,this study thinks that in order toimproving children’s frustration tolerance,Society should actively pay attention to children’smental health, and build environment of setback; firstly the kindergartens should improveteachers’ professional quality,and pay more attention to the the children’s frustration endurancetraining;secondly,according to the unique characteristics of different children,to make suitablefrustration endurance training targets and plans.Parents,as the main educators,firstly shouldestablish right frustration education concepts,and cultivate children’s independent abilities tosolve problems;secondly,establishing frustration situations,and cultivating children’s confidences;finally,parents should set a good example for young children.In addition,kindergartens should communicate with parents actively,to make the cooperation of home andkindergarten.
