In recent years, the number of "dyslexic" and "dyslexia" is increasing which makes more and more countries focus on improving the reading ability in the education policy all over the world. American national assessment of Educational Progress Committee has conducted a large-scale sample survey of America education reading fluency condition, the result shows that 44% of fourth-grade students couldn’t read the story book fluently as his grade level requested. People from all walks of life have an agreement on the improving of the reading ability which should be started from infant. Fluency in reading is an important component of reading ability and it is the bridge to cultivate children’s reading ability and is an important target of children’s reading ability training. Some developed countries and regions have introduced preschool children reading fluency related standards, but China does not have specifically detailed standards for preschool children’s reading fluency at present. In order to obtain some revelation in early reading teaching, the author formulated a series of early reading teaching scheme through learning from the educational idea and teaching method of developed countries on preschool children’s reading fluency. And then the author went to kindergarten on-the-spot for research.First of all, through collecting and collating relevant literature of preschool children reading, having read a lot of the early reading fluency in teaching of foreign literature, the author understand the current world developed country’s early reading teaching situation. At the same time, the author has a preliminary cognition in preschool children’s early reading teaching situation of education. In order to prepare for the action research, the author will classified the early reading fluency of the literature at home and abroad.Secondly, the author selects the top class in a kindergarten in Beijing as the action research base and goes into the class to observe the kindergarten teacher’s teaching in early reading. At the same time the author will survey the reading ability and level of the preschool children, especially the degree of fluency in reading;On this basis, in combination with the relevant contents of early reading fluency teaching, the author selects the corresponding teaching plan that can meet the needs of its physical and mental development;After having a basic understanding of the top class on teaching, the author begins to carry out teaching.With the guidance of my tutor and kindergarten’s teacher, the author continues to carry out teaching action and concludes reflection for adjusting and modifying the teaching plan gradually and then carry out teaching action again. In the process of continuous observation and teaching action research, the author obtained a lot of first-hand information on teaching research of preschool children’s early reading fluency.Finally, the author will receive the data for screening and sorting, study the process, method and experience of early fluency in reading teaching for preschool children and carry on the preliminary reflection.This thesis consists of five parts:The first part:introduction. This part briefly discusses the origin of the research, research aim and meaning, relevant concepts, literature review, research ideas, research methods and the research objects.The second part:the preliminary exploration on reading fluency research about early preschool children. This part firstly introduces our country "3-6 years old children’s learning and development guidelines" and the United States "Connecticut English language arts curriculum standard PK-8" on preschool children’s early reading especially reading fluency aspects of the relevant provisions, provide guidance and direction for the next action research. Secondly, the author went to kindergarten, through continuous observation and investigation of a top class in kindergarten, the author has a preliminary understanding on preschool children’s early reading fluency level and carries out the target to pave the way for the teaching action.The third part:the action research of reading fluency teaching in preschool children’s reading and reflective practice. The author formulates teaching plans through referring to some teaching methods of foreign early reading fluency and writing reflection for each class for adjusting teaching content on next class.The fourth part:the strategies and methods of early reading fluency teaching. The author puts forward the suggestion of early reading fluency and summarizes the strategies and methods of teaching early reading fluency of preschool children according to the teaching experience and reflection on the action.The fifth part:conclusion. This part is the brief summary about the experiences and lessons of this action research on early reading fluency teaching of preschool children.
