Needless to say, with the intensification of economic globalization and the rise of the movement of teachers’ professionalization, more and more governments around the world are focusing on this important stage of education—teachers training. To some extent, an ordinary teacher is from novice to perfection, his own 80% of the education teaching ability is not directly from the school, but to benefit from the incumbency levels of teacher training. The teacher training is considered as the effective means of improving the quality of teachers. The teachers’ professional development is likely to result in slow or stagnant with inefficient or invalid teacher training; On the contrary,the effective teacher training, it is possible to speed up the pace of the teacher professional development. As economic globalization increasingly develops today, the global teacher training work is in full swing, it is based on the need of the social economic development. In order to understand the status quo of the primary school English training of young teachers in a district in Dalian, to find the problems existing in the primary school English training of young teachers within the region and try to find the countermeasures to solve the problem, so as to improve the quality of the work of young teachers in the primary school English training and to promote the professional development of young teachers in the primary school English, so specially chose to research this subject. This study took the young primary school English teachers in one district in Dalian as the research object, made The Young Primary School English Teachers Training Status Quo Questionnaire and The Young Primary school English Teachers Training Status Quo Interview Outline,adopted the survey method and interview method to go on studying from these five dimensions including the young primary school English teachers training motivation, training attitude, training content, training form and training effect, showed the present situation of primary school English training of young teachers in the region and according to the data obtained from the above five dimensions of a detailed statistical analysis, found some main problems and drew the following conclusions: 1. The main motivation of the primary school English training of young teachers was to improve the education &teaching abilities and their training attitude is positive; 2. The primary school English training of young teachers paid attention to the theory with practice, highlighted the discipline characteristic and paid attention to the interactive training form, cooperative learning and discussion, but the pertinence of training content was not strong and the teaching method of lecture was used more often; 3.The primary school English training of young teachers enabled trainees to master the advanced modern teaching methods, to understand the effective teaching methods, more in-depth understanding of the requirements of new curriculum reform, but the effect still needs improving. At the same time, with a view to the main problems of primary school English existing in the training of young teachers above,the paper proposed the rationalization proposal and which will provide the reference for the primary school English training for young teachers, the follow-up educational decision-making as well as the formulation and implementation of training plan in the district in Dalian, etc. |
