Physical education is an important part of school education, physical education teaching quality and effect is closely related with school education. Martial arts in China traditional sports project occupies a pivotal position in the school sports. Through martial arts education can carry forward the national traditional sports culture, let more students through wushu exercise to keep fit, edify sentiment, will, and improve human muscle strength and potential of neural responses. But at present our country high school martial arts teaching in the lack of the innovation of the teaching content, single, old teaching form and content have been unable to meet the needs of wushu teaching, urgently needs to improve and perfect the content of wushu teaching, stimulate students interest in martial arts.This research uses the literature material method, expert interview method, questionnaire investigation and logical analysis, the development of changchun city high school martial arts teaching present situation investigation, to find the main factors affecting the development of changchun city high school martial arts teaching, and put forward the improvement and perfection of strategy, in order to promote the development of changchun city high school martial arts teaching long-term, stable and healthy development.The results showed that:(1) changchun city high school wushu teachers balanced sex ratio, reasonable structure of professional titles, high business level, teachers’ age is relatively young, but the level of record of formal schooling is low.(2) of changchun city high school martial arts teaching content is given priority to with long fist, martial arts, tai chi chuan project, evaluation is given priority to with summative evaluation, teaching time can satisfy the requirements of teaching but poor teaching facilities.(3) of changchun city high school students like martial arts movement, students more attention to the martial arts movement, but participation motive is not clear, is not correct.(4) the main factors influencing the changchun city high school martial arts teaching is a school leadership of martial arts is not seriously, martial arts with poor teaching facilities, teaching staff is weak, the organization and management, students’ learning motivation is not clear. To this, the author puts forward the following Suggestions:(1) to strengthen the construction of schools of martial arts teachers, through study or training way to promote teacher’s professional level, update their professional knowledge, lay a foundation for teachers’ professional development.(2) strengthen the changchun city high school martial arts facilities maintenance, increase the investment in sports facilities construction funds, so as to meet the needs of teachers’ teaching and students’ learning.(3) the rich and colorful campus wushu contests, improve high school students interested in martial art learning, enhance students’ understanding and the understanding of wushu sport, arouse the students’ interest in learning martial arts.(4) improving the quality of changchun city high school martial arts teaching, improve the martial arts teaching organization and management, in order to improve the teaching of martial arts long-term, stable and healthy development.
