Currently, quality education and elementary education curriculum reform is advancing, the humanist education idea is also gradually deepened, in the profound and difficult in education reform, education of middle school music course teaching in the practice of creative development, summed up a lot of advanced education thoughts, education ideas; Creative developed many teaching methods, teaching contents and teaching modes. These new methods, contents and modes in practice, greatly improve the quality of the teaching of music disciplines, has become a middle school music education reform practice of precious wealth. The implementation of the new curriculum reform, marked our country elementary education reform vision has entered a new stage. New materials, new curriculum, the new teaching idea are fundamentally changed the teacher’s teaching behavior, has also changed the students’ learning behavior. With the new curriculum reform and thorough development, the full implementation of the new curriculum to teacher’s challenge is more and more obvious, according to the survey, the notion of teacher didn’t tell the class change, old teaching methods, teachers grasp and understanding of the new curriculum is not in place, the lack of corresponding class changes ability, lack the necessary experience curriculum reform, it will affect the degree of process and carry out the new curriculum reform. The unavoidable cause our thinking, middle school music curriculum reform teacher how to practice curriculum reform, the reform of music teaching:what’s the point, where is the direction, how to change, we should pay attention to the curriculum reform and think what are the problems. This study is based on the 2011 full-time compulsory education music course standard "as the theoretical basis, seize the opportunity of the Huludao city of the affiliated middle school of Liaoning engineering technology university curriculum reform scheme, constantly deepening the teaching reform as an opportunity, with his twelve years of teaching practice, use four kinds of research methods, from the current situation of middle school music curriculum reform, find out the existing problems, and find countermeasures of middle school music class to change.Research papers are from the following aspects:the first part, preface. Discusses the background and significance of curriculum reform, selected topic reason, discussed the problems existing in the current middle school music teaching, further defined the research purpose and research methods. The second part, the middle school music curriculum implementation present situation analysis, this chapter mainly in Huludao city’s music discipline of the affiliated middle school of Liaoning university of technology as an example, from the current teachers and students the state, music teaching material using at present situation, the music curriculum teaching design present situation, the present situation of music teaching evaluation, music teaching conditions, students of art activities status, five aspects are analyzed. The third part, the music classroom teaching has a problem. The fourth part, the junior middle school music teaching reform thinking and measures.
