Biology is a natural science based on the study of the phenomenon of life and the law of life.The teaching of biology and the rapid developments of biology can not be separated from experiment,As is said in the experiment textbook of the ordinary high school curriculum standard,it is most important to experience in understanding the science process.Implementation of the experimental course is to allow students to experience the process of scientific development.According to the requirements of the curriculum standard,and the proportion of the biological experiments is aggravated in the exam,many schools have already attached great importance to biological experiments and also set up special biological laboratories.However,there is no research on the utilization of biological laboratories.Therefore,this paper investigated the utilization of biological laboratories. Survey shows that students have a strong interest in biological experiments,especially the exploratory experiments.The biological experiments capability of students has been greatly improved,to complete the basic operation of biological experiments in a year and a half of study.Teachers have a strong ability to experiment teaching from the survey of teachers.However,the investigation of the utilization of laboratory shows that,although the facilities have been improved,the frequency of experiment course is not high,especially the grouping experiments of students and the experiments of Research. In the laboratory resources,more frequency used instrument,are limited to the important experiments of the textbook.The findings show that teachers and students have the requirement to use biological laboratories,but laboratory utilization remains low.In the teacher’s survey,it can be seen that the most fundamental reason is due to the limited amount of time.Predetermined biological experiments are executed with limited hours.In this way biological laboratory can not be effectively used,laboratory resources are wasted,and the cultivation of students’practical and innovative capabilities are limited.Thus,assume the management of open experimental teaching laboratory work is increasingly complex,increasingly heavy workload of the laboratory management personnel in the traditional manual management mode.The opening biological Laboratory is mainly to study the contents of the theory.Based on the research on the conditions and the principles of the opening biological Laboratory,this paper develops the process and the manner of the opening biological Laboratory,and finally give some suggestions and views on the management of the opening biological Laboratory. It is can be seen that the opening biological Laboratory is feasible and necessary from the study of opening biological Laboratory.Therefore, the opening biological Laboratory can effectively implement the concept of the new curriculum reform,enhance students’ learning ability,stimulate students’ scientific thinking and cultivate students’innovative consciousness.
