Language development is an important sign of the intellectual development of the students, on the whole physical and mental development of students have an invaluable role. The narrow strip of the mainland and Taiwan belong to the Chinese-speaking world, the historical context, cultural context similar, also stressed the nine-year course in the curriculum, but because of different curriculum standards and syllabus design, which presents a different curriculum. Therefore, the mainland and Taiwan is the most worthy to compare two educational entities, this paper has consistently country nationals elementary and high school syllabus mainland version of the 2011 Compulsory Education curriculum standards revised in 2008 and Taiwan in the field of language learning (national languages) were compared.
