A Comparative Study Of The Compilation Of High School History Textbooks Across The Taiwan Strait

With the development of the new curriculum reform,more and more attention has been paid to the reform of teaching materials.Therefore,by combining the two editions of textbooks published by people's education press in 2007 and Taiwan kangxi culture co.,ltd.in 2016,and the corresponding curriculum standards of high school history,this paper conducts a comprehensive comparative analysis,aiming at their advantages and disadvantages,in order to provide some Suggestions for the compilation of high school history textbooks in China.This paper mainly describes the latest research trends of historical textbooks across the Taiwan straits,systematically discusses the differences between historical curriculum standards in the mainland and Taiwan,the reasons for the evolution,etc.,and makes a macro analysis of textbook layout from the perspective of unit structure.The research on the content of the textbook covers the content of Chinese history and world history from the aspects of politics,economy and culture,and takes this as the entry point to compare,analyze the reasons for the differences in content and discuss the different characteristics of the compilation of the textbook.The assistive reading system is an important auxiliary part of the history textbook,which is mainly divided into introduction,illustration,auxiliary columns,exercises,appendices,etc.This paper also compares the compilation features of the two editions of the textbook in detail,and finally summarizes and expounds the advantages and disadvantages of the two editions of the textbook.The author selects two versions of high school history textbooks that are representative of both sides of the Taiwan straits,hoping to make an all-round analysis from the aspects of curriculum standard,structure,content,reading aid system,etc.,in order to discuss the concept,historical view,advantages and disadvantages on both sides of the Taiwan straits.
