The province of British Columbia is one of the most developed education province, Canada and Britain province especially the primary school is famous for its national education quality. Current British province elementary school language curriculum standard in China and Canada very little comparative study, this article selects the 《British province current elementary school language curriculum standard "the English language arts-kindergarten through grade 7》 and 《the elementary school language curriculum standard current compulsory education Chinese curriculum standards (2011 edition)》, this study will adopt methods such as observational method, literature method, comparison method, mainly from the elementary school language curriculum standard in our country and the British province background, framework, the general curriculum idea, curriculum goal, content and objective in speaking, reading, writing, target and content, curriculum implementation of a detailed analysis of the several aspects, mainly to through one of the provinces and British curriculum standard of the differences and similarities of comparative analysis, so it can a more comprehensive understanding of the elementary school language curriculum standard in our country what are the disadvantages, so as to further perfect our country elementary school language curriculum standard.This paper is divided into nine parts, the first chapter mainly introduces the background of China and Britain province native language curriculum standards. The second chapter mainly introduced the our country and the British province native language curriculum standard framework. The third chapter mainly is one of the provinces and British native ideas of courses in the curriculum standard. The fourth chapter is one of the provinces and British course overall goal and the content analysis and comparison. The fifth chapter is one of the provinces and the British in the native language curriculum standard "hear" the comparison of the target, it is concluded that China and Britain province emphasize oral English communicative, pay more attention to "hear" the British province strategy target, in this regard, do a little lacking in our country.
