| As a tool of discipline, mathematics has a very wide range of applications in every aspect of people’s lives and the cultivation of students’ mathematics application ability is the basic demand of mathematical disciplines. Model thoughts are powerful tool that communicates students’ mathematical knowledge and the actual life. In the primary school stage, infiltrating modeling thought into the mathematics classroom can effectively improve the students’ ability of mathematics thinking, their application awareness and sense of innovation. Meanwhile, as a tool of discipline, the value of mathematics will be truly manifest.In this study, through the access to a large number of theoretical data, I conduct theoretical analysis. Based on the characteristics of primary school students, I point out the penetration of modeling thought lies to make students experience the process; understand the spirit of modeling thought. Thus, I demonstrate the suitability of modeling thought and mathematics teaching in primary school. Also, I elaborate the superiority of the modeling thought infiltrating in mathematics teaching from 3 aspects, which contains the urgent demand of the mathematical ability of application, students ’needs of all-round development in mathematics, interpretation of new curriculum for modeling thought.The most typical and the most common mathematical model in the primary mathematics knowledge system is the equation model. Therefore, this research chooses the "equation" unit to carry on the teaching practice part of the research. Firstly, taking two classes of the sixth grade students in the internship school as objects, research is carried out in order to know the situation of modeling thought infiltrating in mathematics teaching. I conducted a survey analysis from 3 aspects:the students’ attitude on the mathematics learning of equation unit, teaching situation in classroom, students’ mathematics application ability and modeling capability and the results reflect many problems. Based on the problems reflected in survey research, I take "equation" unit as an example to carry on the teaching design and practice. Through the questionnaire and test evaluation, I analyze and evaluate the teaching effect, then obtain the positive effects of the teaching practice and the existing problems, which contains the deviation of understanding students on modeling, the lack of comprehensive ability of students, the ingrained traditional teaching mode and teaching idea and the long-term process of modeling thought. Finally put forward some teaching suggestions. Firstly, cut part of mathematical modeling in classroom teaching. Secondly, introduce modeling thought in teaching of applied problems. Thirdly, combine conventional teaching with mathematical modeling. Fourth, enrich the content of mathematical modeling. Lastly, pay attention to the application of mathematical thoughts. |
