This article describes the current situation and theoretical basis of the "anchored" teaching method. With students-centric and real scenarios, the "anchored" teaching method fully reflects the idea of training necessary geographic literacy of modern citizens.The practices of "anchored" teaching method not to just simply copy it but actually to combine theory with practice of real teaching scenarios of our school. Through native understanding, the complete and real problem background similar to the reality of the situation is interpreted as building the hierarchical and serialized learning situation and questions, the learning based on grasping technology is interpreted as learning based on knowledge and technology. By integrating "anchored" teaching method and interaction teaching method, it makes teaching method developing sustainably. Native understanding of "anchored" teaching method is more in line with our school’s teaching environment and practice and achieves high efficiency in teaching practice.Based on literature, case study analysis, classroom micro-observation research method, questionnaires and interviews, this paper carries out a systematic study of "anchored" teaching mode of the lesson about "massive sea campaign".Through investigation of students’current learning foundation of the "massive sea campaign", analyzing potential development of students. Through survey the frequently asked questions about the "massive sea campaign", identifying the obstacles of overcoming the zone of proximal development and analyzing how to "drop anchor" in order to help students cross the zone of proximal development.Through survey, this paper finds out efficient ways of "drop anchor" about the "massive sea campaign". It also has certain reference value for theoretical research and empirical research of other chapters’ "anchored" teaching.
