With the development of economy and the strengthening of education’s reform,requirement for the teacher is increasing. As Physical education is one of the importantsubjects, it is important to improve their ability of physical education teachers. Pre-serviceteacher education is an integral part in the entire education. The main task of physicaleducation major in Shandong Province is to train PE Teachers for junior and seniorschool. Therefore, it is significant to do research into status of Physical Education Major’sstudents. Not only to improve their own professional knowledge, ability, and self-development, but also to promote the professionalization of teachers, teacher education integration,and lifelong development.Research on physical education teachers training is one of the concerned topics athome and abroad. However, previous studies were mainly to explore the goal of thetraining and the setting of curriculum theoretically. Therefore, the study was to breakthrough the limitations of previous studies and selected "primary and secondary schoolteachers’ professional standards"(Trial) to study in a new perspective. Based on “primaryand secondary school teachers’ professional standards” which is about the basic requirements for teacher professional philosophy and morality, professional knowledge and capability, and combined with the research of physical education professional training objectives,teaching conditions, teacher staff, curriculum, as well as through physical education majorsand new PE teacher surveys, data analysis, etc. it comes to basic problems and currentlevel about physical education major students as well as new physical education teachersby analyzing the status quo on the Physical Education train students. Finally, according tothe study on the problem, it comes up with the feasible suggestions.“Standard” basic content with “Dimensionality ","field" and” essential requirements"three levels, namely the "three Dimensionalities, thirteen (" Primary Teachers’ ProfessionalStandards "), fourteen (" High School Teacher Professional Standards "), sixty fields ("Primary Teachers’ Professional standards"), sixty-three ("High School teacher Professional standards") of the basic requirements."Thus, according to “primary and secondary schoolteachers ’professional standards” specific requirements, physical education optimizes propos als as follows:1. Refresh the concept of education, establish the fundamental philosophy "EthicsFirst",“student-focused ","capacity-focused” and "lifelong learning" which compliance with"primary and secondary school teachers’ professional standards"(Trial) proposed, cultivatequalified PE Teachers whose character with good professional ethics and professionalism.2. Enact new training objectives, clarify and specific requirements. As "Primary and secondary school teachers’ professional standards"(Trial) settle "professional philosophy andmorality","expertise","professional competence" identified the teachers`specifications.Training objectives Shandong physical Education project should be based on the actualrequirement of society, cultivate the PE teachers who not only should take knowledge forteaching Primary and secondary school but also with professional development of innovative capabilities.3. Establish a reasonable structure and fully functional curriculum system beforeprimary and secondary PE teachers to post. Adjusting the proportion of all lessons, cconsummate curriculum structure, increase in elective courses and educational practice time; in order to make the students who chose education majors to show us their expertise according to their interest.4. Improve Physical Education environment. Sports equipment updating provides morecomprehensive teaching space. It is much helpful to form better atmosphere, also help toimprove the ability of students.5. Founding an education team with high professionalism and academic ability. Increase investment in sports-related research projects, support of the teachers’ job training, increase cooperation between universities, promote academic exchanges, establish cooperationwith primary and secondary schools, universities and schools to realize the combination,training PE teachers who in line with "Professional Standards for Teachers."(Trial) generally.6. Improve professional knowledge and ability of Physical Education Majors. Prospective teachers should take part in various forms of practical activities to strengthen development, education, knowledge, subject knowledge, teaching skills, general education knowledge, teaching design ability, ability to implement, organize and implementation capacity, motivation and evaluation skills, communication and cooperation skills and the ability toreflect on as well as develop ability.
