Couplet enjoys the reputation of "poetry" in the poem since ancient times, it’s a unique form of language art.Couplet is not only the treasure of the splendid Chinese culture and art, but also a wonderful art work of the world cultural treasure.Couplet art is an excellent Chinese traditional culture, couplet culture inheritance and education of primary and secondary schools are not only beneficial to inherit and carry forward the art, but also help to improve the level of the students’couplet knowledge and the ability of appreciate, it is necessary to adapt to the local actual life. In addition, it is beneficial to improve the language education of primary and secondary schools. It is a pusher of Chinese teaching reform, and promotes the characteristics of running a school.Respondent of this paper is Jinhua experimental school, which is located in Yuncheng, Shanxi Province. The local couplet culture atmosphere is rich. The Chinese couplets society choose Yuncheng as "the best couplets cultural city of China",9 of the 13 counties around Yuncheng had been awarded the title of "Chinese couplets culture county", and Wenxi county is known as "the best Chinese couplets culture county".The school organized a series of activities of couplets culture inheritance and education since its beginning in 2004. In 2006, the school was named "China couplet education base" by Chinese couplets society. For more than ten years, the school continuously makes efforts to expand couplets cultural inheritance and education among primary and secondary schools. "Couplet goes into the classroom, into the students mind and life" not only can open up the students’ wisdom, enrich the campus life, but also can make the couplet culture inheritance and education the characteristics of the school and the school brand. It promotes the development of the teaching work, while provides a valuable experience of the couplets cultural inheritance and education of elementary and secondary schools in China.The first chapter gives a brief introduction of the couplet culture inheritance and education status in elementary and secondary schools in China, then introduces the background of couplet culture inheritance and education based on primary and secondary schools. Finally, the importance of couplet culture inheritance and education is expounded from three aspects.Statistics and analysis of couplet culture inheritance and education status in Jinhua experimental school are done in chapter 2. The author carried out investigations mainly among students, teachers, parents from the school by questionnaire and interview. On the basis of the investigations, the paper summarizes the achievement and innovation of practice of couplet culture inheritance and education.The third chapter of this thesis point out a number of issues currently Jinhua experimental school couplets cultural heritage education exists, and attempting to analyze the causes of the state, society, school, family of four levels.The last chapter studies couplet culture inheritance and education of elementary and middle schools in China from the perspective of pedagogy theory. Countermeasures and suggestion are given to discuss how to promote the all-round development of students according to couplet culture inheritance and education, and how to find a way to make primary and secondary schools students better adapt to the couplet culture inheritance and education. The value and innovation of this paper is to provide some experience and reference for primary and secondary schools in Shanxi Province and even in other parts of China to introduce couplet culture inheritance and education.
