Suicide, a heavy and sensitive topic appearing more and more in the transformation period of the social adolescents, is endangering the junior school studentent physical and psychological health and social stability. Ideological and Ethical Education, as a social practice taking human life as a carrier, once loses the life, it will lose its significance of existence and development. Under the guidance of such educational concept as “all-round quality-oriented education” and “cultivation orientation”, when facing the reduction and marginalization of ideological and ethical education and widening suicidal phenomena among junior school studentents, the current tendency on ideological and ethical education should be strengthening the research and exploration of junior school studentent suicide, changing the test-oriented education, complementing life-education, so as to establish for students correct outlook of world, life and value.Based on the comprehensive application of literature research method, case analysis method, comparative research method, experience summary method, and interdisciplinary research method, this thesis explores deeply the inner link between junior school studentent suicide problem and ideological and ethical education, examines the root cause of junior school studentent suicide from the perspective of ideological and ethical education, and aiming at exploring an effective way of preventing junior school studentent suicide with life education and enlightening the life education on junior school studentents.Based on the research achievements both domestic and abroad, this thesis lays emphasis on three aspects upon the systematic discussion of junior school studentent suicide.In the first part, with literature search and case analysis, the author defines the connotation and characteristics of suicidal problems, expounding the severeness of junior school studentent suicidal situation and hysteretic nature of suicidal problem studying so as to illustrate the significance of studying junior school studentent suicide onto the society, schools, families and junior school studentent as an individual.In the second part, with studying the current situation of junior school studentent suicidal problems,the author analyses the important factors of junior school studentent suicide such as physiological factors, psychological factors, family factors, school factors and social factors, traces sources of junior school studentent suicidal problems so as to dissect the essential reasons of this problem.In the third part, aiming at the reasons of junior school studentent suicidal problems, the author adapts comprehensively the relevant theories of pedagogy, psychology, sociology and ethics, makes great efforts to explore the effective methods and basic solution of junior school studentent suicide, i.e., family guidance, school education, social intervention, public supervision and self adjustment so as to facilitate the formulation, sounding and perfecting of the precaution and intervention measures of laws and legislation, rules and regulation and moral norms.
