Since the 1980 s,the targets of the early childhood education has changed a lot in many countries. It turns from “intellectual education center " to “comprehensive and harmonious development ".With the improvement of quality of children’s parents in China,They are not only satisfied with the children’s eating and playing well in kindergarten,But also demand a higher quality of early childhood education. which needs the preschool teachers to respect the principal position of children in teaching and actively create rich teaching situation to guide the the further development of the children.The author thinks that the situation teaching refers to a kind of teaching mode :preschool teachers create a situation related to teaching content according to certain teaching target,which can be achieved by the role play, music rendering, story and play, problem guide etc. And through these activities inspire children’s strong desire for knowledge, and guide children to learn new knowledge and new skills.This research mainly bases on a questionnaire survey of 100 kindergarten teachers who are questioned by the application of situation teaching in kindergarten mathematics education activities, and combine with the typical cases found by the author’ three months of practice in kindergarten.In view of the existing problems, the author puts forward the corresponding suggestions in order to provide guidance for the first-line teachers practice situation teaching.Through questionnaire survey and analysis of typical cases, it can be seen that situation teaching widely implemented in the kindergarten mathematics education activities, and the corresponding teaching effect has been made.The author finds that the positive effects of situation teaching in kindergarten mathematics education as follows.1.The preschool teachers have a correct understanding of situation teaching.2. Preschool teachers can use various teaching methods to establish situation.3. The situation teaching in kindergarten mathematics education activity has made the corresponding teaching effect.Though there are positive effects, the author found that situation teaching kindergarten mathematics education activities still exist in many negative effects.1. preschool teachers have a one-sided understanding of the situation teachingwhich to be further improved.2. The situation teaching in kindergarten is only applied to a certain link in the process of teaching not throughout the course.3. Preschool teachers establish the situation that is too complicated, which makes it difficult to participate and concentrate on the normal education activities.4. There is a phenomenon in the situation teaching of kindergarten mathematics education activities: “mathematization" is gotten rid of; stress the situation and despise the feeling.5. The implementation of the situation teaching is difficult.Aiming at the existing problems, the author puts forward the corresponding suggestions from three aspects :preschool teachers, kindergartens, parents, and hope to provide a guide for preschool teachers when it comes to situation teaching in mathematics education activities.
