As one of the most popular activities to the children,playing games is very irreplaceable andimportant for their physical and mental development. Based on this, domestic and foreign have issued aseries of related documents and regulations to protect it. In specific game activities in kindergartens, if therelaxed and happy component of game activities and the attitude and spirit in the game could be valued,various aspects of the development in early childhood will be realized to a great extent. Privatekindergarten is the main force of the kindergarten in our country. The investigation to the game currentsituation of private kindergarten is conductive to promote the game activities in private kindergarten andimprove the quality of education of private kindergarten.This research used the stratified random sampling method. According to the economic development inHenan province, the reference standard is each family per capita income of urban residents.413teachers in15kindergartens in low-medium-high three levels cities are selected as the object of study. The methods ofthis research are literature, observation and questionnaire, which are used to survey the situation of gameactivities in private kindergarten. Simultaneously, there kindergartens in the medium-sized city are selectedfor a one-month observation. It helps that the game activities in private kindergartens could be understoodmore fully and actually. In this research, present situation of the game activities is discussed with the meanssuch as SPSS16.0statistics software and observation record, the conclusions are as follows:1. The types of game activities: The teaching games and the structure games are two extreme trends.The regular types of game activities in different levels of kindergartens have significant differences. Gender differences also exist in the selection of game types.2. The time of game activities: Every time the game time is short, and also the proportion of gameactivities in daily activities has deficiencies. Both of the time of teaching activities and the transitionactivities are longer than game activities every day.3. The materials of game activities: The material categories are not rich. The quantity is not sufficient,and the rate of utilization is low. Thereinto, the structure toy has the most number to the total, and thehomemade toy has the least.4. The guidance of game activities: Usually, teachers will choice to supervise in the game time. Thereexists different degree of confusion in the organization of the game activities.Through field observation and interviews, this research reached the conclusions: The main factorswhich could influence private kindergarten game activity in Henan province are insufficiency financialinvestment from education department, poor management of the private kindergartens, the teachers’education concept can not connect with actual teaching behavior and the parents’ biased education concept.Based on the exploration of the present situation and reasons, this research further proposed somerationalization proposal to promote the gaming activities in kindergartens by realistic: creating a goodsocial support system, building a comprehensive and scientific management system, paying more attentionto the gaming activities in kindergartens, strengthening home contact to help parents establish a correcteducation concept.
