Classical poetry is the cultural treasure of the Chinese nation, classical poetry teaching has always been an important part of Chinese language teaching in high school. In this paper, with the introduction of the concepts of reception aesthetics, the classical poetry teaching in high school now expect the aesthetic field of vision, requirements for the teaching of high school classical poetry and the classical poetry teaching through analyzing the present situation of high school, points out the traditional high school positive teaching method in classical poetry teaching, and puts forward the problems existing in the classical poetry teaching.
