A Study On The Mental Health Of College Students From The Perspective Of Ideological And Political Education

In the early of 21 st century, the new changes of the state of mental health among the universities students have been distributed by the double-edged sword effect from the developing network and various new media. During the process of ideological and political education, there are several mental health problems needing to be answered. Students’ mental health is close connection with social developing, ideological and political education by universities and families and self-qualification.To face the university students’ mental problems, making the effective solution and giving the support to students, this paper analyzed those problems from the aspect of ideological and political education. It argues that, Students currently complex and diverse mental health problems. The main four facts are negative social energy, attend- examination education system, the cultivated concept which think intelligence is more important than emotional intelligence and the imbalance development in themselves. Pointing to those problems, this paper suggest to extend the effect of positive energy in social environment, to reality the quality education in school, to pay more attention in emotional intelligence in family and to keep the balance of themselves.There are three parts in this paper. The first part, clarify the concepts and features of ideological and political education, mental health, students’ mental health, and to expound the importance and measurement standard of students’ mental health. Give my own explaining on university students’ mental health problems and make new solutions. The second part is about university students’ mental health problems and the causes. Analyzing from society, university, family and student themselves, combining with the social background of the new technology and development in network and new media, explode the new factors of metal health problems. Analyze all the negative factors effect in university student mental health. The third part, using the method of ideological and political education and psychological method, give the resolution toward those problems. To analyze from society, school, family and individual and to explore the answer in students’ mental problems, give the reasonable suggests to those problems.
