Junior high school students are in a period filled with conflicting emotions and feelings,prone to loneliness,depression and other negative emotions.Such a lonely state can bring great damage to adolescents physically and mentally,which will reduce the level of mental health.To understand the current situation of loneliness among the migrant children in Xining and its influencing factors,this research is based on the former researches and take the cluster random sampling method to select two primary schools in Xining,a total of 506 students as the object in our study.It adopts Loneliness Scale,Eysenck Personality Scale and Friendship Quality Questionnaire,as well as the general questionnaire of migrant children.The result of this research shows as follows:1.There are no significant differences between the migrant group and non-migrant group on the loneliness,as well as on the test of friendship quality; On personality traits,the score of Psychoticism dimension in the migrant group is higher than the non-migrant group,the results is statistically significant.The Extraversion dimension is significantly lower than the non-migrant group.There is no statistically difference in the score of Neuroticism and Lie dimension.2.There is no significant difference in the evaluation of loneliness between the migrant group and non-migrant group.3.Single-child group receive a higher score than non-single child group on the loneliness.There is no significant difference on the dimension of gender,grade,different flow time and parents’ cultural level.4.The L and N dimensions of personality is positively correlated with the loneliness. The E dimension is significant negatively correlation with loneliness.5.Those factors such as help,companionship,communication and trust are significantly negative relevant to loneliness,which indicates that much more help,companionship,communication,and trust can reduce loneliness.There is no significantly correlation between conflict dimension and loneliness.6.There is significantly negative correlation between the E dimension of the personality and value of the friendship quality.L is significantly negative relevant to conflict.P is significantly negative correlation with conflict dimension.7. Multiple regression analysis showed that the nine dimensions can explain 42.9% of the variance of loneliness.Among them,E and N have the highest explanatory power.
