China is known as a State of etiquette and ceremonies. Etiquette has always been is an important symbol of Chinese civilization as well as an important crystallization of Chinese traditional culture in the past five thousand years. As a strong code of conduct easily put into practical use, etiquette still has an important role in modern morality. People apply etiquette to restraining and regulating their own behavior as well as to express mutual respect, friendship and respect so that interpersonal coordination and morality could be developed and promoted. Through words and deeds in interpersonal communication, the spiritual outlook of an individual as well as a nation could be reflected. Etiquette has become an important yardstick of individual morality and social civilization, an indispensable quality of modern civilians. Apart from contributing to building etiquette quality, promoting etiquette education to develop good etiquette habits is good for the ethnic unity and social stability. Though conveying Chinese traditional culture, etiquette education is far from flourishing. On the contrary, etiquette education is in a rather bleak situation. In my opinion, endless pursuit of material wealth reduces people to ignoring their morality and forgetting the essence of human nature. From the perspective of morality ethnics, I attempt to analyze essential reason accounting for the loss of etiquette education and look for the possible solution to promote etiquette education with regard to pursuing goodness, returning to life as well as establishing a fair system.This paper is divided into four parts. The first part is an overview of ritual connotation. This part emphasizes the content of etiquette as well as the principle of order, moderation, morality and etiquette. The second part talks about the loss of etiquette education and its hazards. This part focuses on different layers of etiquette education, namely etiquette education loss, etiquette education failure and the derivation of etiquette education. The third part is the analysis of the etiquette education failure. The analysis derives from national system, the school and individual morality based on different levels. The forth part is an exploration of etiquette education development. It intends to illustrate the development of individual morality, the pursuit of goodness from the school side to return to life and to establish a just system is a possible solution.
