The principal is the management core of the kindergarten. The degree of the specialization and the level of the management of the principle directly affect the quality and the efficiency of kindergartens. The guidance and management on the district level to the director team helps to enhance the education quality of the regional kindergarten, contribute to maintain a good social reputation, and promote the sustainable development of the kindergarten.This thesis takes the principal of G District of Nanjing city as the research object, applies the system theory and the resource reliance theory, refers to the relevant research results at home and abroad, teachers construction, and uses the literature research method, interview investigation method and experience summary method as the main research method. From the perspectives of the teacher, principal and the research member as the one who experiences and gets benefits, the author clarifies the practice and research on the professional development of kindergarten principal team and the promotion of their own field. This thesis analyzes the existing professional ability and level of the G kindergarten on the basis of the background of the director team on the district level, illustrates the problem, demand and the necessity of the management to the director team on the district level and the specialization of the principal, and expounds the inevitable trend of the principals’ professional development.This thesis is divided into four chapters, including introduction, the background analysis part of the principal professional development on the district level, the part of the reform practice and the part of the countermeasures and some suggestions. The introduction part mainly explains the research background, its significance and value; the background analysis part collects the basic information and the natural condition of the G kindergarten, and does the investigation and analysis according to the professional structure, professional ability, professional quality, professional sex, professional requirements and other aspects; the reform and practice part describes the working practice of G kindergarten management team and the effectiveness of the work, including the mechanism construction, project establishment, and the three aspects of the follow-up training; the part of the countermeasures and some suggestions elaborates the reflection of the G kindergarten management team and the subsequent attempts, including the implementation of the objective management on the district level, the improvement of the principals’ monitoring capacity, the strengthening of the organization construction on the district level, the promotion of the principal professional development and leadership ability, the increase of the professional training of the district director, and the development of the executive ability of the principal.
