"Chinese new curriculum standards" has put forward specific requirements for the level of high school students’language. However, high school students’ Chinese writing is far from satisfactory. Many typical mistakes, including wrongly written or mispronounced characters, coining words, misused words, sentence mix, can be found in students’ homework and papers. Aimed at developing relevant coping strategies, this article, by means of conducting surveys, focuses on the present situation where high school students tend to made such mistakes in Chinese writing and analyzes the causes of the incorrect expressions in high school students’ Chinese writing.This article is divided into four chapters, Introduction and Ending excluded. Chapter one deals with the research concerning the incorrect expressions in high school students’ Chinese writing, and the analysis of the results. Based on the brief introduction to subjects, research scopes and methods, it emphasizes the results of the study. Chapter two summarizes the particular facts and examples found in high school students’ Chinese writing, mainly involving parts of speech errors, syntax errors and discourse mistakes. Chapter three probes into the causes of the incorrect expressions. Many factors, mainly teaching facctors, student factors and social factors, contribute to the phenomenon. Chapter four is about setting out relevant coping strategies involving the Chinese language teaching strategies and social governance measures. To develop the Chinese language teaching strategies, it is necessary for teachers to change their teaching concepts and methods, and innovate in teaching contents as well as the evaluation mechanism.The research of this subject will help the implementation of new curriculum standards of teaching philosophy and provide a reference for the deepening of the reform of secondary school language teaching. The study also contributes to the effective training of secondary school students’Chinese language ability and the Improvement of the language skills of the future citizens, thus making the Chinese language truly become an "economic resource" and China’s "hard power".
