Development of technology has brought the information age. The current social network terminals, especially the PC terminals grow popularity, which makes the game popular. As the new force, educational games began to popularize among the young. On the one hand, due to the absence of stringent quality assessment standards, educational games are intermingled with the good and bad on the Internet. On the other hand, under the circumstance of production teams were out of touch with the school teaching, educational games cannot be synchronized with the learning at school, which resulted in that part of the educational games only played a role in entertainment.Problem-solving which has been the focus of mathematics teaching for a long time is conducive to the formation of sense on math and the building of mathematical models. For this particular problem, "find the law" catches author’s great attention in the process of communicating with some primary school in Nanjing. On the one hand, the "law" itself is a concrete manifestation of schema; on the other hand, schema plays a decisive role in the processing of problem-solving. Combined the characteristics of pupils’ thinking, the author attempts to introduce schema into educational games. Basing on the content of Unit 6 Find the law, specific experiments was designed to explore the influence of problem-solving ability by using schema-based educational game. According to the analysis of experiment data, the following conclusions was got:1. Compared to traditional paper-based learning materials, schema-based educational games can improve students’ schema level.2. Compared to traditional paper-based learning materials, schema-based educational games can significantly improve students’ migration capability of problem-solving.3. Compared to traditional paper-based learning materials, schema-based educational games can significantly improve students’ abstract thinking ability. The development of thinking comes from the concrete to the abstract. Abstract content compared to figurative content with the performance of educational games is more pronounced in the effect.4. Both schema-based educational games and traditional paper-based learning materials can improve students’ problem-solving ability, however, the former is more significant. The kind of questions that clear an object compared to the two objects clearly ate more suitable for the performance in the form of educational games. It was found that through the educational experiments, the schema-based educational games has a certain influence on the abstract thinking ability, schema level and problem-solving ability of students. The development of abstract thinking is helpful for schema level to a higher level. The enhancing of schema level itself helps to elevate problem-solving ability. In turn, the improvement of problem-solving ability in this study demonstrated the enhancing for abstract thinking and schema level of students. However, due to a large missing of the experiment data which can reflect schema level, the author found that the improvement of schema level and problem-solving ability is not synchronized. Its effect remains to be further explored.
