Our country is in social transition at present, As a result of China’s reform and opening up and development of the economic globalization of in-depth, university students’ thought and behavior are diversified presently, resulting in ideological and political education in universities facing severe challenges. in the process of researching ideological and political education method of universities, comparison of different types of implementation method is a new field.in order to innovate ideological and political education in universities, it is necessary to strengthen and improve the method of ideological and political education in colleges and universities.In terms of social systems and cultural traditions in China and the United States, there are great differences between the two countries. university students’ ideological and political education has its own characteristics, having its own cultural background and research value.A comparative study of ideological and political education implementation method of college students between China and the United States and analyzation of their respective advantages and disadvantages, aims to study ideological and political education in different social systems and explore the implementation method of beneficial experience and disadvantages. to critical drawing on and assimilating the useful experience, take the essence to the dregs, achieve mastery through a comprehensive study, in order to improve the university students’ ideological and political education implementation method of our country, develop our ideological and political education in the direction of socialization, modernization and integration.This paper will be divided into four parts:The first part mainly introduce the topic background, research significance, current research status of domestic and foreign scholars on the issue,and the main innovation points and research method;The second part firstly introduces the meaning of the United States and China university students’ ideological and political education and the implementation method, secondly introduces the factors of effecting ideological and political education implementation method in China and the United States, finally respectively elaborate the ideological and political education method in university of China and the United States the type of implementation;The third part is a concrete compare analysis and study on the ideological and political education implementation method, having a analysis of the characteristics and respective advantages and disadvantages of the implementation method of thoughts and politics for college students of China and the United States. The fourth part,combined with the actual situation of students’ ideological and political education implementation method in our country, absorb the beneficial experience of American colleges and universities related method, promote the development of Chinese university students’ ideological and political education implementation method and improvement.
