In China, after years of reform and innovation, higher education provides a large number of high-quality talents for the socialism construction. By 2015, Chinese private colleges have nearly 30 years of history. By June,2014, private collages admitted by government has reached 444, including 296 adults higher education, and five million thirty-three thousand one thousand and eight hundred students. Among them, the Education Department of Shaanxi Province, announced that it has 30 private colleges and universities (including 12 independent colleges). However, as private colleges and universities have been developing rapidly, the high tuition fees are more and more concerned by people. For private colleges with independent operation and self-financing, the tuition pricing is not only the foundation and the premise of the stable and healthy operation, but also closely linked to individual students and their families. Therefore, taking Shaanxi Province as an example, this paper studies the characteristics and potential problems of the Tuition Pricing of private colleges and universities in China. Tuition collection has a deep significance and long-term impact, tuition not only affects the private colleges themselves, also plays a pivotal role in household consumption and allocation of education resources. However, at the same time it may also bring about certain negative influences, especially whether the tuition pricing is reasonable, and if the local residents have the enough economic capacity to adapt to, which is a topic worthy of our thinking and actively exploring. Starting from the Shaanxi Province private college tuition pricing investigation and through the analysis and collation of data and relevant policies and regulations, this paper points out that the private colleges and universities in Shaanxi Province and the tuition pricing situation characteristics and issues:excessive pricing, price convergence, top grid charges, a violation of the principle of good quality and low price. Through the analysis of the problem, it is pointed out that the cause of the problem is that the design of the system is defective, the host is driven by the profit, and the government pricing mechanism fails to keep pace with the times. Suggestions for the present situation and problems of: improve the system construction, keep pace with the times; give full consideration to the affordability of the local residents; actively expand the sources of funding; comprehensive consideration of various factors affecting the tuition; make great efforts to improve the quality of education, to ensure consistent quality and price; take a correct attitude towards education, raising tuition efficiency.
