| Chinese textbook is the bridge between the curriculum and teaching, which directly reflects the concept and the nature of new curriculum standard. The "Discussion and Exercises" selected from the textbook, as an important component of Chinese teaching materials, reflects the Editor’s intentions. The establishment of the "Discussion and Exercises" in existing PEP high-school Chinese (compulsory) textbooks involves a wealth of knowledge, and highlights humanity of mother-tongue teaching. Novels, as an important literary genre, accounted for a large proportion in the high-school Chinese textbooks. The importance of the "Discussion and Exercises" behind the selected texts should not be neglected.Taking the Anderson taxonomy theory as analysis framework, the author combined "General High School Language Courses Standard (Experimental)", made a detailed sorting and analysis of the "Discussion and Exercises" part in novel units of PEP Chinese textbooks (compulsory) in high school, and the questions of literature text reading (novels) appeared in the latest three years of college entrance examination papers, and made a summary and evaluation of them. Afterwards, the author put forward reasonable and feasible proposals for the design of the "Discussion and Exercises" part in novel units of PEP Chinese textbooks (compulsory) in high school and the design of the questions of literary reading texts (novels) in college entrance examination.This paper consists of three parts:the introduction, the body and the conclusion. Five areas of content are involved in body part:First, from knowledge dimension, a careful sorting was conducted on "Discussion and Exercises" part in novel units of PEP Chinese textbooks (compulsory) in high school, then a statistic and an analysis of the setting of the four types of knowledge in "Discussion and Exercises" part behind Chinese ancient novels, Chinese modern novels and foreign novels selected from the textbooks were made respectively.Second, from the cognitive dimension, a careful sorting was conducted on "Discussion and Exercises" part in novel units of PEP Chinese textbooks (compulsory) in high school, then a specific statistic and an analysis of the setting of the six cognitive levels in "Discussion and Exercises" part behind Chinese ancient novels, Chinese modern novels and foreign novels selected from the textbooks were made respectively.Third, from the knowledge dimension, a sorting of the questions in literary reading texts appeared in the latest three years of Chinese college entrance examination papers (novels) was conducted, and a statistic and an analysis of the number and the proportion of the four types of knowledge in questions behind the Chinese modern novels and foreign novels selected from the textbooks were made respectively.Fourth, from the cognitive dimension, a sorting of the questions made in literary reading texts appeared in the latest three years of Chinese college entrance examination papers (novels) was conducted, then a statistic, an analysis and a summary of the setting of the six cognitive process levels in questions behind the Chinese modern novels and foreign novels selected from the textbooks respectively.Finally, the author made a number of recommendations on the establishment of the "Discussion and Exercises" part in novel units of PEP Chinese textbooks (compulsory) in high school and on the establishment of the literary reading texts (novels) in Chinese college entrance examination papers. In the author’s opinion, the establishment of the "Discussion and Exercises" part in novel units of PEP Chinese textbooks (compulsory) in high school should update effective knowledge and remodel the idea of novels; furthermore, the design of the "Discussion and Exercises" should be in accordance with the cognitive demands and processes to give full play to the function of textbooks as "examples". The establishment of the questions of literary reading texts (novels) in college entrance examination papers should balance the procedural knowledge and reduce the repetitive drills; and it should emphasize on metacognitive knowledge, and develop innovative thinking.The innovation of this paper is that the author, using Anderson two dimension taxonomy framework, made a detailed statistic and analysis of "Discussion and Exercises" part in novel units of PEP Chinese textbooks (compulsory) in high school, and the questions of literary reading texts (novels) in college entrance examination papers, thus proposed a few views and recommends that can be for reference. It also provides another possibility for the establishment of the "Discussion and Exercises" and the design of the questions of literary reading texts (novels) in examination papers from another perspective, so that makes the design of the "Discussion and Exercises" in Chinese textbooks in high school and the design of the questions of literary reading texts (novels) in examination papers more in line with the new Chinese curriculum standard in high schools, as well as the demand of the times. |
