| In the new curriculum-reform time, the traditional teaching mode of physics suffers more and more questions and challenges. In recent years, model teaching method has obtained more and more attention in Physics Teaching in Senior High School. Most educators think that physical model is playing an important role in improving the academic performance, innovation ability, and scientific literacy of students. The physical phenomena and physical process of life Influenced by a large number of factors are very complicated. This complexity results in that those students cannot distinguish between the primary and secondary factors, and leaves many difficulties in analyzing the questions to them. The high school physics curriculum is the basic of application subjects, which research the most general and basic laws. So we need to simplify the process of complex physical problems in real life, this is what we called physical modeling. Physical modeling helps to rule out non-essential physical factors, to highlight the essential characteristics and the general rules of things, to simplify, even ideal the research problems. Building and application of physical model, not only can let the students know the essential laws of actual phenomenon, but also associate the physical knowledge with real life, which makes students feel the progress of physics learning is interesting and useful, drives students to explain life in physical knowledge. Therefore, the physical model teaching method plays a important role in cultivating the students’learning ability, innovation ability and science literacy.Based on the research on the literature, and combined with my own teaching practice, this paper reviews the theory of the physical model in high school physics teaching, investigates the psychological process of learning physics model, and the rules that should be followed in using the model in high school physics teaching. Moreover, I conclude and summarize the goals that should be reached in physical model teaching in senior high school in this paper, which combined with the requirements of the new curriculum reform. Finally, I put forward some concrete measures for carrying out model teaching in Physics Teaching. This article also gives several cases of model teaching in high school physics teaching, combined with my teaching practice.Theoretical research and teaching practice all fully illustrate that the physical model teaching is consistent with the basic theory of education and psychology, and the model teaching is a practical application of the basic theory of education and psychology. Introducing the physical model teaching method into the classroom, will effectively stimulate students’ interest in learning, promote the development of students’ thinking, and cultivate their innovative consciousness and scientific literacy. |
