In China, it’s a age that school students who grew up in this new era have a widely way to get information and they have an unprecedented information storage. And their parents are the birth of a new generation of reform and opening up, have a new family values and education. Under the influence of these factors, the new era of middle school students have some new characteristics which past middle school students do not have.Along with the advancement of new curriculum reform, as one of the effective teaching methods, situational teaching was practiced by teachers. During The education internship, the writer has been focused on how to improve the students’ interest in maths study and combined with the author is entering people’s teacher, how under the background of new era for effective mathematics classroom teaching, is the problem that the author has been confused. So, think through the specific research to solve some doubts.This paper adopts literature research, analysis of teaching plans, the methods of questionnaire, interview method, studied the subject, this article altogether 6 chapters, divided into three parts.Part 1 is the basis of research, including chapter 1 and chapter 2. This part introduces the research background, train of thought, to study the situation teaching of relevant theories and the development process, analysis of the middle school students under the background of new era character and learning characteristics.The second part is the core content of research, including chapter 3 and chapter 4.The current problems existing in the teaching class situation attribution analyses, and sums up out of the situation teaching should follow the eight basic principles. From creating situation of material selection and the type of situation to implement two aspects, the method of creating situation under the background of new era. Situational teaching through case study, the popular element and mathematics situation teaching fusion, designed for the typical situation teaching cases.Part 3 is the result of research, including chapter 5 and chapter 6.In chapter 5, for the sake of a little of their own design case for reflection and improvement, and designed a class to practice, get some feedback, and draw the following conclusion:(1) popular element into situational teaching indeed improve the students’ interest in learning, but the effect is significant for verification; (2) the integration of methods, techniques also need to constantly reflect on and improve; (3) the implementation of the situational teaching method is different from person to person, but must comply with the class of students learning level.At the same time, puts forward some teaching Suggestions:(1) the students to communicate, access to material, advancing with The Times; (2) the principle of guidance, mathematics is given priority to, gout is complementary; (3) the eugenics think much, losing more hands-on; (4) timely feedback, reflection and improvement. In the sixth chapter, through reviewing the research of this thesis, reflect on their own innovation and deficiencies, and situational teaching research is prospected for the future.This paper incarnates how to establish mathematics situation full of modern flavor, through abundant, originality of the case for the classroom teaching has laid a solid foundation in the future.
