Situational teaching is a kind of teaching method that stimulates students' motivation to learn and promotes their active learning by creating a situation.It is a teaching method strongly advocated by the current new curriculum reform and a more popular teaching method in middle school mathematics class at present.It is of great practical significance to study the application of situational teaching in junior middle school mathematics teaching.Starting with the application status,application strategy and teaching practice of situational teaching in junior middle school mathematics teaching,the main research questions are as follows:(1)How is the application status quo of situational teaching in junior middle school mathematics classroom?(2)How to effectively implement situational teaching in junior middle school mathematics teaching?(3)Does the optimized situational teaching application strategy have a positive impact on junior middle school mathematics classroom teaching?On the basis of reading relevant literature,through the method of questionnaire survey,interview,educational experiment,etc.,the above three problems are studied,the specific content is as follows.Taking 180 junior middle school mathematics teachers as the investigation object,this paper studies the application status of situational teaching in junior middle school mathematics teaching.The results show that junior middle school mathematics teachers have the following problems in the application of situational teaching:(1)Although most identified with situational teaching for students and teachers,promote efficiency of teachers' classroom teaching has a positive role in promoting,but their situation teaching concept is fuzzy,the design of the situational teaching is relatively lacking the support of relevant theories,think situation teaching is simply creating situations,and situational teaching method applies only to the introduction of new knowledge;(2)There are still some teachers who do not reflect on their own classroom teaching in time and lack of active communication with students after the application of situational teaching method;(3)Most teachers lack the initiative of situational teaching research;(4)The proportion of operational situation in middle school mathematics classroom situation teaching is not high;(5)Teachers of different teaching years only have significant differences in the classroom atmosphere created by the application of situational teaching method in practical teaching.Based on the results of current investigation and research,this paper puts forward the application strategy of situational teaching in junior middle school mathematics teaching,including six principles that should be followed when implementing situational teaching,specific optimization strategy and complete application process.The optimization strategies include:(1)The relevant theories of active learning situation teaching;(2)Carefully create a variety of situations;(3)Fully respect students' subjectivity;(4)Constantly strengthen teaching reflection.The application process mainly starts from three links: preliminary preparation-concrete implementation-later reflection.Based on the proposed application strategies and related theories,situational teaching practice is carried out in junior middle school mathematics classroom.The results show that the optimized application strategy plays a positive role in boosting the actual classroom.According to the two-way feedback of students and teachers,students' math learning performance,active initiative in math learning,classroom participation and mathematical thinking ability have been improved in the class that carries out situational teaching practice.
